The building inspector is back. The cans on the little posts are part of laying out the deck. Note the grass still hasn't grown back where we moved the shed from.

Now that the painting is finished we can't be idle so we had 5 yards of cement gravel delivered to start the deck. Retirement isn't it grand....

This what you do when there is a power outage and it is raining. Buckets of water collected from the storm drainage. Use is to flush the toliets, because no power, no pump, no water to flush the toliet. Just part of the fun we have... but how resourceful Deborah is.

We finally made it back to continue with our project. Everything wintered well. Lots of work faced us with the clearing of the property. So 3 weeks of slashing, chainsawing, and burning we got most of the clean up done. Thank you to friends and neighbours also.
Big deal was moving the shed, great expertise by our neighbour, Fred was tremendous.
We decorated one bedroom to be used temporarily in the new addition as the project continues.
